Hoardfast® Soundscreen is a modular acoustic hoarding system that reduces the impact of noise from construction and refurbishment works. The quick-to-install system enables contractors to maintain operational continuity while reducing disruption.
Manufactured from 50mm thick, white steel-faced composite panels filled with mineral wool, and perforated on the construction side, Soundscreen provides a certified minimum 34dB sound reduction when installed floor-to-ceiling. The system also helps prevent dust migration, supporting cleaner and safer working conditions.
Panels connect using a tongue-and-groove push-fit system, creating a secure seal. Soundscreen can be installed floor-to-ceiling using supplied u-channel fixings to maximise acoustic performance, or configured as a free-standing system using Westgate’s universal support for flexible site layouts.
Available in standard heights of 2.7m and 4m (with a cutting service available on request), Soundscreen can be tailored around services and structural elements to maintain a sound and dust-tight barrier. Easy-fit single and double doors, corner posts and T-sections enable the creation of secure internal site offices, welfare facilities and segregated construction zones.
