Hoardfast Firescreen benefits

Fire-rated internal hoarding

Hoardfast® Firescreen is a modular fire-rated hoarding system that protects people and assets during internal fit-out, refurbishment and maintenance works in live environments. The quick-to-install system lets contractors maintain operational continuity while meeting on-site fire safety requirements.
Manufactured from white steel-faced, mineral wool-filled composite panels, Firescreen is available in two panel types: EI30 (60mm thick, 15.9kg/m²) and EI60 (80mm thick, 17.9kg/m²), both certified to EN 13501-1:2008 A2-s1-d0. The mineral wool fill also provides acoustic benefits and thermal insulation, making Firescreen suitable for use as an external weathering panel during construction.
Panels connect using a tongue-and-groove push-fit system, creating a secure, dust-tight seal. Hoardscreen Firescreen 30 installs floor-to-ceiling using supplied u-channel fixings. Firescreen 60 can be installed floor-to-ceiling or configured as a free-standing system with reduced fire protection using Westgate’s universal support.
Available in standard heights of 2.7m and 4m for EI30, and 2.25m, 3.1m, 3.5m and 4m for EI60 (with a cutting service available on request). Easy-fit single and double doors with digilock, vision panels, windows, corner posts and T-sections enable the creation of secure internal site offices, welfare facilities and segregated construction zones.

Do I need skilled labour to install Hoardfast?
No, Hoardfast is easy to install and comes with a comprehensive installation guide.
What are your lead times and stock availability?

Are 30 min and 60 min fire-rated Hoardfast Firescreen panels suitable for indoor and outdoor use?
Hoardfast Firescreen EI30 and EI60 panels are suitable for both indoor and outdoor hoarding applications. They are both certified to EN 13501-1:2008 A2-s1-d0.
Does the fire rating still apply when installed free-standing?
No. Free-standing systems do not offer the same level of fire protection as floor-to-ceiling. The fire rating does not apply when a free-standing system is used.
Can access doors and windows be added to Hoardfast Firescreen?
We supply easy-fit single and double doors with digilocks, vision panels, windows, corner posts and T-sections to create secure internal site offices, welfare facilities and segregated construction zones.
