Westgate Global at MODEX 2026: A record-breaking show

In April 2026, the Westgate Global team headed to Atlanta, Georgia, for MODEX 2026. What an event it turned out to be. Held at the Georgia World Congress Centre from 13–16 April, this year's show broke all previous records, with over 1,000 exhibitors welcoming 50,000 visitors from 132 countries. For Westgate Global, it was a landmark occasion in its own right, our first time exhibiting at MODEX, and a hugely positive debut.

Gerrard Gates (Director of Westgate Global), shares his insights:

"I attended MODEX alongside Ben Gates (President, Westgate Global Inc.) and Callum Gates (Client Relations). and the four days proved to be exactly the kind of high-quality, high-energy environment we were hoping for.

Strong interest in Flexiscreen and Flexiwall

For this first appearance at MODEX, we chose to focus on our two leading protection systems — Flexiscreen and Flexiwall — and the response exceeded expectations. We saw a strong and consistent flow of visitors to the stand throughout the show, generating high-quality enquiries from businesses across a broad range of sectors, including logistics, warehousing, automotive and data centres.

It was particularly encouraging to connect with both new prospects and a number of well-known global organisations we already work with across the UK and Europe, including companies such as Amazon, Ford, Toyota, DHL and Kellinova. Conversations consistently centred around improving space utilisation, safety and operational flexibility, which are precisely the areas where our solutions deliver real value.

The stand features a table skirted in black with brochures and promotional signage. Neighbouring stands are partially visible in the background.

The scale and themes of MODEX 2026

As the largest manufacturing and supply chain exhibition in North America, MODEX always delivers on scale — but 2026 felt like a step-change even by its own standards. The show featured over 200 educational seminars, four major keynote presentations and an enormous breadth of exhibitors covering everything from traditional material handling equipment through to AI-connected supply chain orchestration, robotics and last-mile logistics.

The dominant themes across the show floor were unmistakable, with automation and robotics continuing to generate enormous interest, alog with AI-driven warehouse management, agentic AI, and adaptable infrastructure solutions. This aligns closely with the growing demand we see for flexible partitioning systems that can evolve alongside rapidly changing operational requirements — whether that's a new warehouse layout, the introduction of robotics, or the need to segregate zones for safety and compliance.

Beyond the exhibition floor

Outside of the show itself, Atlanta proved to be a fantastic host city. Staying at the Scout Living hotel, we made the most of the city, visiting Ponce City Market for evening meals, walking sections of the popular BeltLine, and taking in attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola. Mornings started with a swim in the rooftop pool on the 22nd floor, which offered spectacular views across the Atlanta skyline and was a great way to start the day ahead of the exhibition.

Looking ahead

MODEX 2026 has reinforced for us that North America is a highly significant market for Westgate Global and that there is a strong, genuine appetite for the adaptable, high-quality industrial protection and partitioning solutions we provide. The conversations we had with new prospects, existing global partners and industry peers give us a lot of confidence heading into the rest of 2026 and beyond.

We'll be back.
